BSC HONOURS IN BIOLOGY FROM ACADIA UNIVERSITY (NOVA SCOTIA)
Dr. Valérie J. Brousseau studied genetics and evolution at Acadia University in Nova Scotia, graduating in 2000 with a BScHonours in Biology. Recipient of the Clarke K. MacLeod Scholarship, she continued her medical studies at McGill University, where she took part in research projects in pediatric ENT with the Cleveland Clinic and in neurodevelopment of the auditory system atJohns Hopkins University.
MCGILL UNIVERSITY MEDICAL DEGREE AND ORL SPECIALTY
She obtained her MDCM medical diploma in 2004 and pursued her specialty studies in Otolaryngology and Cervicofacial Surgery atMcGill University. During her specialization, she participated in numerous research projects and presented at several national and international conferences.
TRAINING IN ENDOSCOPIC EAR SURGERY AT THE UNIVERSITY OF BRITISH COLUMBIA
Having completed her specialty in 2009, she continued her training in endoscopic ear surgery at theUniversity of British Columbia. In 2013, she became the first surgeon to practice this technique in Quebec.
DIPLOMA FROM HARVARD UNIVERSITY'S GLOBAL CLINICAL SCHOLAR RESEARCH TRAINING PROGRAM
Dr. Brousseau graduated with Great Distinction fromHarvard University 's prestigious Global Clinical Research Scholar Training Program (GCRST) in 2016.
